World-best indoor light energy harvesting technology The Lightricity team has developed the world leading photovoltaic energy harvester for indoor light environments. Under artificial light such as white LED or Fluorescent bulbs, Lightricity PV technology achieves a conversion efficiency of >35% in the lab, and >30% in production. Lightricity Energy Harvesters find application in Wearable Technologies, powering IoT sensors and in building and home automation.As a Senior Advisor my role is to support the commercialisation, business development and growth of Lightricity.

Supporting IN Reality in their development and growth. IN Reality provide VR products and services and are developing visualisation tools that use positional data for a player (e.g. in a sports team) to recreate the match in a fully immersive 3D environment. The analyst can then view the player’s perspective, gaining invaluable spatial awareness of any situation allowing enhanced coaching, training and tactical awareness.

Achievements include:- Managing Director of Sharp Laboratories of Europe Ltd, leading a multidisciplinary Lab of 80 top scientists and engineers with responsibility of creating a return from an annual budget of >£10 million.- Restructured the business to meet future corporate needs.- Led the development and transfer of e-learning service enabling the learning of English as a second language.
