Optional Energy Partners Incorporated is a new and vibrant Sustainable Energy Company that is located in Sturgis, Michigan. We believe that communities need to take charge of their own energy needs and that we can help communities produce the "Sustainable Energy needed to become a Sustainable Community."

I was the CEO of a County based Educational Service Agency. We coordinated services for 9 local school districts in the following areas:1) Special Education, 2) Vocational Education, 3) Early Childhood Education, 4) Professional Development 5) Financial Management, 6)Technology Services, and 7) State and Federal Mandates and Grant Procurement.

Served as High School Assistant Principal, Then High School Principal, and lastly as Assistant Superintendent.

I was responsible for the supervision of 16 teachers, 1 laboratory technician, and the educational programming for all students taking science classes at Carl Sandburg High School.

During this time the Science Department at Carl Sandburg High School was selected as one of the top 10 Science Programs in the State of Illinois. It is still recognized for its excellence and its focus on scientific inquiry.

I taught Biology, Chemistry and Oceanography. I also coached basketball, baseball, and football.
