I am a community campaigner and Honorary Alderman in Bristol.I was a Bristol City Councillor between 2005 and 2013 including being Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrat group on Bristol City Council.I was a councillor in several key executive roles which has given me solid experience in getting things done in Bristol. I retired in 2011 from a 30 year career as a GP, in some of the more challenging neighbourhoods in Bristol. As well as commercial experience of running and growing the GP practices as a partner I have also been the Medical Director in a national company.As a family doctor for 30 years I know Bristol inside out – the people, the places, the issues. I know what makes Bristol great and I know what makes life hard for too many Bristolians. I'm proud of the work the Liberal Democrats have been doing to bring jobs to Bristol and to boost business, education and culture.
