During this journey, she has also been a Consultant with the South African government and supported poverty reduction, job creation and microfinance programmes in Afghanistan and Brazil. She is the recipient of prestigious awards including the Nari Shakti Puraskar, Bal Kalyan Puraskar, and the inaugural Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women’s Empowerment from the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Sankar’s academic journey includes earning an Executive MBA from TRIUM, where she was awarded the program’s inaugural scholarship.
