Dr. Kelli A. Uitenham is a nationally certified medical speech language pathologist, a highly respected and passionate public speaker. She has over ten years of experience in the field with a deep commitment to improving the lives of patients and advancing the practice of speech-language pathology. Dr. Kelli is the owner of Serenity Speech Therapy, a private Telepractice, Kensington Academy, a consulting firm, and Brain Talk Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading awareness about neurological disorders. She has extensive experience working with adult and geriatric populations, specializing in dementia, stroke rehabilitation, swallowing, Parkinson's Disease, fluency, voice deficits, and providing accent modification services. Dr. Kelli has worked in skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living facilities. She has experience working in home health and hospital settings, and as a travel speech-language pathologist. Dr. Kelli is licensed to practice in nine states, providing services in each via telehealth.As a public speaker, Dr. Kelli is known for her dynamic and engaging presentations that blend evidence-based practice with real-world experience. She has been invited to speak at numerous conferences, universities, and professional events, where she shares insights on a wide range of topics, including traumatic brain injury, concussions, and CTE in athletes, long COVID related brain fog, dysphagia management, aphasia rehabilitation, providing services via telehealth, etc. Dr. Kelli holds a clinical science doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions where she conducted research on the effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation in patients with dysphagia. She is also a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and maintains active involvement in professional organizations and committees dedicated to advancing the field of speech-language pathology. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Kelli is an avid advocate for her patients and their families, working to raise awareness of neurological disorders and promote access to quality care for all individuals.
