Dr Maggie Hardy is an experienced executive who has held a range of senior leadership roles in the public service in Australia and the United States. Internationally recognized for her scientific and leadership contributions, Maggie is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (Australia and New Zealand), Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society (United Kingdom), and a Member of the Australian Institute for Company Directors. Maggie has also served on the Board of Directors for a variety of professional, scientific and nonprofit organizations.Dr Hardy is an innovative advocate for One Health, and has significant expertise in building capacity in environments where evidence-based decision making is required. Operationally, she has experience in risk management, program governance, emergency preparedness, implementing quality management systems (QMS), change management, and using big data to develop metrics to direct and evaluate innovative change management programs. In addition to her technical background, she is passionate about regional development.
