I am experienced and dedicated Geotechnical Engineer and Civil Engineer who has built on a strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles to effectively lead geotechnical teams and deliver on project commitments.With almost 20 years of professional experience including 15 years in geotechnical consultancy and research I have demonstrated a high level of competence in all my endeavours. For the last 5 years I have had organisational, financial and technical responsibility for the teams I have led. Through time spent working in Germany and project experience in West Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia and the UK I have gained a broad experience of project types. Moreover, through constantly delivering on project aims have developed an in-depth knowledge of working in a wide range of sectors including railways, highways, property, power, national government and local authorities. South west and Wales project experience include: Pontypool and New Inn Station Improvements, Lyme Regis Coastal Defences, Brynglas Tunnels widening study and South Devon Link Road.Throughout my career I have developed and employed excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with other geotechnicians and non-specialist team members, contractors and clients.
