The mission of Collegiate EduNation is to transform public education for all students to provide affordable access to college-ready, career-ready preparation leading to higher education and industry-recognized certifications. I was hired, in coordination with MAYA Consulting on an 8-month consulting contract, to move the start-up from vision to execution. We were able to codify the educational model, build a playbook, train all network partners, establish financial policies and procedures, manage grant commitments, improve board governance, and complete a full branding and marketing process.

My position at Oklahoma State University is 65% teaching and 35% research. I currently teach "Teaching Methods" where I focus on strategies to experientially deliver instruction, "Experiential Learning" - a graduate course addressing how humans learn, grow, and develop, "Research Methods in the Social Sciences," and "Data Analysis in Social Sciences." My research focuses on experiential learning, rural scholar development, career and technical education, and diversity/inclusion in higher education.

I served as the principal of Lincoln Alternative Academy and Stillwater Junior High where I served as the lead administrator and Director of Alternative Education.

I served as an advisor for this innovative, inner-city, high school under the guidance of the Big Picture Company. This time with students fundamentally changed how I see teaching and learning, diversity, instructional design, and experiential learning.

I served as the lead specialist for all state youth leadership programs. This included involvement in development, delivery, and evaluation of experientially designed programs supporting youth in leadership roles. This included the management of budgets near 1 million dollars, fundraising, training the trainers, and coaching a team of national student officers. I also joined the development team which focused my work on facilitating stakeholder feedback sessions and moving those to tangible curricular changes.
