Dr. Mergen, is a chemist. After his BS degree, he completed two separate master programs simultaneously on ‘Polymer Chemistry’ and ‘Forensic Toxicology’. After his research studies in Ankara University and University of Porto (as a visiting PhD Candidate), he was awarded a PhD in Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology at Ankara University, Turkey. During his 11 years of research and academic career (RA and as Assistant Professor), he executed quite a few laboratory projects; coordinated and managed academic responsibilities; gave lectures and published his academic work.He started working in academic e-publishing industry in 2012. He worked as information specialist/consultant & sales at a service provider. He conducted more than 100 on-site training sessions for Higher Ed. Institutions as well as Corporate. He had a core sales focus not only in Turkey, but also in GCC countries, Balkans and Turkic Republics. He actively represented and made sales for variety of global publishers from ‘academic integrity’ to ‘chemistry’, ‘medicine’, ‘pharmacy’ and ‘engineering’. He took major roles in business plannings and sales strategy developments.
