School psychologist (retired - 31 years for Newport News Public Schools) Currently pursuing my lifelong goal to "give away" my psychology and counseling knowledge to students worldwide, including our Naval military students who are underway and want to pursue learning. Those students have proved to be the most dedicated and hard working learners I have had the honor to teach. There are so many things I could share and so little space LOL to do so here. Just note that I love teaching psychology, counselor education courses and consultation, and now, Human Services.I look forward to another life change, after 4 years of exposure to and blending with Middle East Muslim and Turkish cultures, learning Islamic beliefs and practices. I have truly expanded my worldview, and self-actualization. In a way I am excited and optimistic, yet, on the other hand, sad, facing the reality that my "overseas days" are over.I will update my profile soon to hopefully report that I am part of Mat-Su College's Human Services Department.
