During a typical week, I have the opportunity to provide executive coaching for individuals and teams from a broad range of industries. I have been a professional coach for over a decade and I am amazed by how much I still have to learn. On Sundays, I look forward to being able to coach on Mondays.

From February 2021 - December 2022, in addition to serving as CEO of Strata Leadership, I co-founded (with Dr. Andrea Bishop) the Center for Leadership and Development and served as the Executive Director. In January of 2023, I transitioned to teaching as an adjunct professor. I teach courses in leadership and coaching.

I began working with OC in the summer of 2006 as a member of the College of Business Faculty. As Assistant Professor of Leadership, I taught undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily focused on Business Law, Human Resource Management, Leadership and Ethics. In addition to my faculty responsibilities, I also provided administrative leadership as the Director (and then Executive Director) of the Academy of Leadership & Liberty. In 2008, I was named Advisor to the President and Vice President for Community Engagement (Oversight of the Admissions Department, Marketing Department, Student Services, Church Relations, Academy of Leadership & Liberty and Campus Outreach programs). I stepped down from my full-time work with OC in 2010 and continued teaching as an adjunct in the Master of Business Administration program until 2012.

I served as Assistant Director for one year (August 2005 - July 2006) and continued as an adjunct professor. As Assistant Director, I was responsible for the strategic planning of the program and building partnerships between the School of Law and other schools within the Pepperdine system. I taught the Psychology of Conflict in 2006 and 2007.

I worked with a creative and hard-working team of ministers to help nurture a vibrant church serving the people of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The church grew from 385 to over 700 in attendance during this time period and purchased a 115 acre piece of property for future expansion.

I worked with mentors Dr. David Burks, Dr. Howard Norton and Dr. Carl Mitchell to help create the Institute for Church and Family. Through ICF, we launched the Church and Family Magazine and offered numerous national level workshops and programs. During this time, I had the opportunity to lead UPLIFT, a summer program for teens from across America hosted at Harding.
