Working on a range of projects including:• Co-authoring the Systems Engineering Management Plan and Systems Integration Management Plan for the Toronto Eglinton Crosstown Light rail Transit project.• Leading the assignment team supporting the Wessex Capacity Programme with their application of the Common Safety Method (CSM-RA) and demonstrating compliance with the Railway Interoperability Regulations, including preparation of Safety Justifications, review of evidence and presenting to Network Rail’s System Review Panel (SRP) for approvals.• Producing bids for work, understanding client requirements and demonstrating how we can meet these requirements.• Acting as an accredited Assessment Body assessor for operational changes to Ilford depot related to the Crossrail project.• Managing assignments with values up to £100k+, responsible for understanding client requirements and delivery of required outputs on time and budget.• Leading a team carrying out a business case development/migration path for the train control system on a high speed railway over the next 30 years.• Producing a safety critical communications strategy for a new high speed railway.

Responsible for maintaining and operations of telecoms and control systems on HS1. Primarily covered RF systems including GSM-R, CSR, Emergency services radio in tunnels and associated RF propagation equipment including Avitec/Axell Wireless radio over fibre systems. Also worked on control servers, telephony systems, LAN based on Cisco equipment and SDH fibre network.

Carried out analysis of potential GSM & UMTS cell sites leading to selection of optimum site solution. Provided business justification for selections, liaised with project managers during site build and for alterations to existing sites.Optimisation of GSM & UMTS networks to enhance customer experience using a variety of data sources including statistical analysis of network performance data, customer reports, drive survey data and various radio planning tools. Implementing and verifying solutions consisting of hardware upgrades, site alterations, parameter changes and in depth investigation into intermittent faults.
