Responsibilities- Regularly patch/upgrade Ford's sandbox, pre-production, and production Pivotal Cloud Foundry foundations across multi-cloud (21ViaNet, Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premise datacenter environments- Regularly automate processes with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bash, Concourse, HashiCorp Vault, Git, and Tekton- Continuously improve monitoring dashboards and alerting tools utilizing industry standard technologies such as Grafana, Prometheus, AlertManager, Blackbox Exporter, etc.- Provide support (business hours and on-call) for application teams utilizing Cloud Foundry as their primary application hosting platform

I have acted as (primarily) a FOH audio engineer for hundreds of programs over the years in this role. I have operated and designed show/scene files for a variety of audio ecosystems, including Yamaha (with associated Dante networks), Behringer/Midas, Allen & Heath iLive, and others. I also oftentimes end up in supporting technical roles as well, as I have a very strong background in computers and networking, so I end up supporting a variety of software, such as ProPresenter, QLab, REAPER, Dante Controller, etc. for others in the department.

In this role, I have designed and implemented solutions to a variety of infrastructure and network monitoring problems using a combination of existing open-source tools and home-grown packages. This has included writing a significant amount of Perl and Python code to automate a wide variety of tasks.Additionally, I have successfully deployed and monitored a variety of different services, such as FreeRADIUS, OpenLDAP, FileWave, Exacq, Zenoss Core, Zabbix, StrongSwan VPN, Duo Proxy, and many others on both Ubuntu and CentOS servers. I spend the vast majority of my time in this role at the command line, troubleshooting complex issues and implementing unique solutions.

Helped produce campus Christmas album, facilitate audio needs for various student association sponsored events, and manage on-campus studio.

During the summer of 2021, I participated in Sweetwater's internship program as an IT Systems Intern. During this time, I became a valuable member of the Client Operations team, as I built and deployed macOS workstations for hundreds of users, managed macOS and iOS devices using the Jamf MDM solution, and wrote a variety of Python and Bash scripts to improve the workflow of the department. I was also tasked with migrating data from Sweetwater's bare-bones, home-built asset management system to Snipe-IT utilizing a variety of MySQL queries and Python scripts.

In this role, I worked hands-on with students to assist with problem solving exercises. I also taught class when professor was unavailable.
