Served a variety of government clients including the US Air Force, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Defense Manpower Data Center, and Transportation Security Administration.

Directly supervised a staff of 12 individuals; was responsible for all US Navy recruitment in Southwest Virginia, which included all Officer Commissions and Enlistments. Led and managed the recruitment of individuals for enlistment in the US Navy and the recruitment of medical professionals for Officer Commissions into the US Navy Medical, Medical Service, and Nurse Corps. Recruited individuals for General Officer programs to include Surface Warfare Officers, Pilots, Intelligence Officers, and Civil Engineer Corps Officers. Implemented and oversaw strategies to find and recruit high-quality applicants. Gave weekly presentations to student groups, college faculty, and university career services staff and participated in recruitment events on Navy Officer Programs job opportunities. Provided counseling and coaching to officer applicants through the entire application process to include application submission, officer interviews and appraisals, aptitude testing, and gaining prerequisite knowledge for Officer Candidate School.

Directly supervised staff of 12 individuals; responsible for the corrective and preventative maintenance of four diesel generators producing all shipboard electrical power and all shipboard auxiliary systems including water production systems, ship’s steering gear, high and low pressure air compressors, air conditioning units, and helicopter recovery equipment. Officer of the Deck for numerous boarding operations supporting nearly ten tons of disrupted narcotics. Successfully confiscated or disrupted $10 million in narcotics. Deployed to South American Pacific region.Managed turnover of auxiliary systems to Pakistan Navy, which included overseeing the training of Pakistan Navy sailors on all auxiliary systems.

Directly supervised a staff of 15 individuals; responsible for the corrective and preventative maintenance of Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System, Harpoon Missile Weapon System, and the ship’s Vertical Launch System which included 128 missile cells. Engagement Control Officer: Led Tomahawk Missile Strike Team. Responsible for ensuring the correct and effective operation and implementation of all Tomahawk Missile launches. Deployed to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf region, March 2008 – October 2008. USS Mobile Bay was one of six ships in the Carrier Strike Group 9 for the USS Abraham Lincoln. Tomahawk Strike Team was recognized by Carrier Strike Group 9 as #1 Strike Team in the Abraham Lincoln Strike Group.
