In automotive engineering, Marc aids in crashworthiness analysis and vehicle dynamics simulations, ensuring safety and performance enhancements. In aerospace, it's utilized for structural integrity assessments of aircraft components under extreme conditions. Additionally, Marc finds extensive use in biomechanics for studying human body dynamics and in civil engineering for analyzing the behavior of buildings and infrastructure.Specific areas of development include support of new material models, solver performance improvements (HPC) and output in the HDF5 format. Involved in the re-architecture of Nastran (SOL 400) to increase performance.
