Having learned the value of business transformation and accountability during over 25 years of working in the private and public sectors, I incorporate these touchstones in my main role at Enasec Limited. In addition to delivering agile programme and project transformations, a major focus of my work is challenging service management, systems integration, solutions development and restructuring. I have leading-edge consultancy and technical experience in IT, operations management, process improvement, business intelligence and engineering. Despite all this, I’m still a GBR Triathlete, a local water polo team member, and enjoy skiing and offshore sailing races, which go some way to satisfying my thirst for adventure. For a short summary of my qualifications and work history, please read on:I graduated from Liverpool University, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Information Systems. This was followed by an MSc in Computer Integrated Manufacture and PhD in Business Strategy Driven IT Systems, from Loughborough University. Between 1995 and 2004, I worked in industry, undertaking a number of senior management, programme, project and business analyst roles within worldwide high-value manufacturing, advanced engineering and dynamic logistics enterprises. I returned to the academic world in 2004, working as a consultant for the Universities of Warwick and Teesside, before moving onto Huddersfield and founding Enasec Limited. From these roles, I joined the NHS Digital for a period of nearly 5 years to develop, deliver, enhance and attain significant benefits from, the innovative NHS e-Referral Service transformation as a core element of the of the 5-year NHS Digital Elective Care vision and roadmap.
