I was trained as a doctor and practised Medicine for two and a half years before turning to health writing. For over a decade and a half now, I have been dabbling in health content in one form or the other. As a writer, I have been particularly interested in communication focused on creating conversations. At Ebix, I have been handling a team of medical writers for about seven years. Our work involves health and medical content creation, with clients spread across pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical education sectors.Before I assumed my current responsibilities at Ebix, I worked for the company's ADAM India division for two years as its Content Head. I started as an editor at Via Media Health, where I worked for six and a half years. At Via Media Health, I headed a team of eight health writers for about six years. The team was focused on creating health content straddling multiple genres of health communication. From articles for newspapers to scientific content for journals, Via Media Health’s content repository was at the heart of some successful health campaigns the company ran in the first half of the last decade.
