I would like to introduce myself as Sanjeev Gupta, working on Convex Optimization as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and Doctorate my PhD degree on "Variational Inequalities” at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India dated June 23rd, 2014. I am writing to apply an Assistant Professor position in Mathematics. The research work, done in the discipline of nonlinear analysis during my PhD with the main focus on the development of many efficient ways like proximal point mappings, resolvent operator, projection and fixed point technique to find solutions for some classes of variational inequalities. I have also published 10 papers in the journal of international repute. My research areas of interest include but not limited to: Convex Optimization Variational inequalitiesI taught mathematics to the graduate classes (B.Sc and B.Tech.) as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant in N.M.S.N. Dass College, India in 2007. In this duration, I taught Differential and Integral Calculus, ODE, Vector algebra, Introductory Algebra, Matrix Algebra, Linear Algebra and integral Transform.
