Developing a clinically validated digital screening tool to detect mental health issues timely during pregnancy and post birth for human and health-economic benefits.- 1 of the 25 teams out of 150 applications selected for Imperial Enterprise Lab’s WE Innovate competition programme to start in 2023 for female-led startups.- Selected and completed a pre-accelerator programme by Queens University Belfast, Innovate UK and Kainos. Used Lean Startup methodology, Value Proposition and Business Model Canvas. Conducted market research with lived experience users and industry experts to explore the business idea. Delivered an impactful pitch to a panel of investors, clinicians and experts.- Combining entrepreneurial skills with Design Thinking mindsets and approaches to test and iterate the business idea.

- Led design research on a project funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to scale the Voluntary sector to deliver Green Social Prescribing services for societal wellbeing in Walsall with a team of designers and researchers.- Co-created future visions of Green Social Prescribing with stakeholders from the Council, the voluntary sector, citizens and clinicians. Co-designing Policy recommendations with stakeholders to reach this future vision using principles of Human-centered Design, Futures Thinking,Systems Thinking and Speculative Design.- Led the team during the initial phase with literature reviews, introducing systems mapping, to form a holistic view of the problem before the next stage of gathering insights.- Engaged with 30+ stakeholders from policy to communities in interviews and workshops. Designed and led 3 future oriented workshops with over 20 participants. - Experienced in verbal, written and visual communication of findings and recommendations to present with confidence to stakeholders.- Organized and chaired Consortium meetings with project partners.

- Work on forensic rehabilitation mental health ward. Responsible for patients’ mental and physical health needs and leading medical emergencies.- Led an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in a community mental health setting. Led the resuscitation of the patient coordinating staff to call for help and to take positions for a good quality resuscitation. -Work with some of the most marginalised communities with highly complex needs- able to overcome challenges and tailor consultations to the audience through active listening and empathy.- Chair 2-3 hour weekly multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patients and update care plans. Real-time decisions on patient care are made through team collaboration and leadership.- Implemented “Move Together” initiative. A weekly exercise class for both staff and patients to improve wellbeing. This has been a successful initiative which has had positive verbal feedback and retained the number of 7-8 participants every week. This collective experience has also improved staff-patient therapeutic relationship by reducing the barrier to staff seen as “authority figures”. - Delivered a talk during family and carers evening to educate families about mental health.

Prioritisation, organisation and communication skills were matured. - Presented the effects of junior doctors burnout on wellbeing and patient safety to the senior managers to change the organisation norm and culture. This led to an output of the department hiring four more doctors to support junior staff.
