I tutor undergraduates on 4 different courses in entrepreneurship and the business skills they need to succeed in today's business environment. I have written several manuals to support this work and now lead a team of tutors delivering one of the modules.

I am fascinated by history in general and military history in particular, stimulated by my military service and, in particular, being taught by Richard Holmes on the Somme whilst at Staff College. I commanded some 650 officers, instructors and cadets in this part time, voluntary organisation. We worked from 20 places in the area between Clapham Junction, Richmond, Wimbledon, Cobham and Croydon. We used the discipline and challenge of military life to encourage young people (13 - 18 years old) to adopt the British Army's core values as a code for life: Selfless Commitment, Integrity, Courage, Loyalty, Discipline and Respect for Others.
