I am a fully-registered medical practitioner with the Singapore Medical Council. I graduated with M.B.B.S. from the National University of Singapore in 2017. My clinical experience includes internal medicine, emergency medicine and psychiatry. I have worked at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore's only psychiatric tertiary hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a frontline healthcare staff at the Community Care Facility (CCF) at Singapore Expo. I was part of the medical operations and helped to set up a psychiatric service for the migrant workers housed at the CCF. I am also an avid musician (multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter). I am a keyboardist, arranger, producer and composer. In 2020, I adopted "The Colour Fool" as my stage moniker. I believe that life is what we make of it, and sometimes we need to be "foolish" or adventurous in order to experience life in all its colour! I'm passionate about mental health and have composed songs surrounding this topic. Do check out Spotify for my material. My interest in mental health and psychotherapy led me to study Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) under the Worldwide Institutes of NLP. In 2021, I obtained my Master Practitioner Certification in NLP. I have an interest in clinical hypnosis.Ultimately, I hope to integrate my medical and musical skills to further the awareness of mental health.
