Developed Nagare, kanban and milk run systems to achieve JIT and inventory reduction by 50% in 5 years with almost zero stock out. Integrated ordering and scheduling system covering Asia including Japan and SE Asia, Europe, Africa etc. for approx. USD 1BB component imports and exports per annum. Achieved cost saving of 10% every year through localization. Logistics Dept.- Inbound, Outbound and Inplant logistics- Road, Train, Shipping & Ports, Imports and Exports Developed first rake in India through collaboration with Indian railways to transport cars by trains. Commissioned a greenfield $200 mm engine and machining plant with 30% reduction in scheduled time and 40% in costs; set up material chain covering multiple countries and multiplevendors; negotiated and sourced from 40 different machine makers from Japan, Germany and India; achieving 150% production ramp up in 2 months. This plant now produces engines for every 3rd car running on the Indian roads.
