Strategically taking the same to next level with pan India operations to reach customer within 24 hours. Achieved highest ever wholesale of Rs 500 crores/ month. Customer quality and delivery improved by over 10% in last quarter itself for over 1500 dealers and 80 distributors, Service ratio of over 99% achieved consistently every month.Integrated fast and reliable after sales supply chain for pan India operations at the best value for customers. Achieved reduction in inventory, packaging and logistics costs by over 10% even when costs are rising.

Consolidated Logistics - Road, Rail , Air, Inland , Coastal etc First Inland waterways trials on National waterway for cars was done successfully leading to signing of MOU with govt. of India. Achieved 20% improvement in railways productivity and historic beginning of time tables for cargo trains was started with support from Railway Board. Also special tags for auto wagons for priority clearance on tracks negotiated with Indian Railways.Coastal logistics also nurtured successfully and multimodal logistics with 20% lower costs and faster service consolidated.

General Manager, PPLC (Production Planning, Logistics and Control)  Production planning and control dept.’s - Three locations- Gurgaon & Manesar for cars and Manesar (Engines) Team of 150 engineers plans and schedules for 1.2 million cars/annum and 1.3 million engines, castings and transmissions. Material ordering and planning done for over 2000 bought out components/vehicle worth USD 15MM/day. Developed Nagare, kanban and milk run systems to achieve JIT and inventory reduction by 50% in 5 years with almost zero stock out. Integrated ordering and scheduling system covering Asia including Japan and SE Asia, Europe, Africa etc. for approx. USD 1BB component imports and exports per annum. Achieved cost saving of 10% every year through localization. Logistics Dept.- Inbound, Outbound and Inplant logistics- Road, Train, Shipping & Ports, Imports and Exports Developed first rake in India through collaboration with Indian railways to transport cars by trains. Commissioned with Indian Railways with PPP model. Moved 5% outbound traffic to rail from road saving huge costs and reducing turnaround time by 80%. One of the first carbon credit earning projects in India. Led development of railway sidings at central and eastern India and now developing port infrastructure in western India. Material Engineering- Design , development and commissioning of packaging and shop floor layouts Led development of patented stillage packaging’s in automobile industry which would lead to standardization of packaging in automobile domain achieving cost savings of USD 50MM/annum Sustainability Dept. – Scrap value generation SBU profit center with annual turnover of USD 100MM

General Manager ( Materials Management) Head of materials management division leading 10 departments at Gurgaon and Manesar plants of MSIL and MPT ( Earlier SPIL) which includes materials supply at MSIL Gurgaon, MSIL Manesar, MPT Manesar which includes production planning and control of all above locations.Material Management divison included KD exports as a profit center and earned revenue in excess of Rs 500 crores with profit. Nurtured this business line profit center of KD exports to Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand in FY 2013.Led and implemented a six pronged strategy in material division leading to cost saving of Rs 500 crores, 9 patents and completely new approach of material handling which is being replicated in various plants Leading 1200 people team and 10 department heads with 500 white collar employees and responsible for hiring, retention, operations and IR along with additional responsibility of the Greenfield Gujarat project's Material Management.Implemented 15 Outsourcing projects – Sequence supply, Vendors integration, Multi-Source collaboration thus achieving a cost saving of Rs. 50mm in 5 years.Implemented Inventory management systems such as E-Nagare in Assembly, Weld ,Paint, Engine, Machine shops and warehouses achieving 50% reduction in inventory costs Led teams on Milk Run, RFID systems and green logistics covering carbon footprint worth INR 600 crores. Commissioned a greenfield $200 mm engine and machining plant with 30% reduction in scheduled time and 40% in costs; set up material chain covering multiple countries and multiplevendors; negotiated and sourced from 40 different machine makers from Japan, Germany and India; achieving 150% production ramp up in 2 months. This plant now produces engines for every 3rd car running on the Indian roads.

1. Led 800 people team of Plant Assembly Operations producing 25% cars from Maruti stable which includes Dzire, Alto, Zen Estilo and New Swift.2. Led 500 people manufacturing team in Weld shops and commissioned new model production of Zen Estilo and Alto K10 achieving fastest ramp up in Indian auto history to 1625/day of single model which went on to become World's largest individual brand ( Alto)3. Commissioned manufacturing line for India's largest selling model, Alto Minor, leading a team of 600 people and achieving fastest ramp up in Indian automotive history. 4. Set up new KB2 Plant- Machine and Engine shops with Capex of above USD 400MM,10X Ramp up in 2 months for this greenfield set up.4. Incubated two new ventures for the board.
