Lead2improve CIC was a not-for-profit, social enterprise working in the UK, Eire and Africa training and coaching emerging and established leaders in healthcare using a unique blend of personalised coaching and formal training based around "learning by doing"​. I continue this work on an informal basis working with a formidable group of improvement coaches.

Southwest Pathology Service is a joint venture between two NHS Foundation Trusts and and a commerical sector partner, iPP (Integrated Pathology Parnerships). This is proving to be a very powerful hybrid organsiation with a fleetness of foot that is difficult to mirror in a purely public sector organisation.

After working for NHS Improvement (Diagnostics) as National Clinical Lead in Cytology from 2010, I became a National Clinical Adviser. Busy busy. We are a National Exemplar Site for Lean cervical screening and we currently get results back to all our patients in Somerset and West Dorset within 14 days - mostly within 7.
