Passion for DataWhen I pivoted away from teaching, I could’ve gone in many different directions, so why data? I thought back to the types of work I had enjoyed in the past, and the first experiences that came to mind were ones where I had been collecting and analyzing data to generate findings. Now, with competency in Advance Excel, VBA Macro, Google Sheets, SQL, and dashboarding, I want to leverage my data analytics skills for organizations working to improve the lives of everyday people.A professional with over 10 years of experience in a variety of organizations and responsibilities, I enjoy engaging in research, analysis, interpretations, and offer recommendations based on the relevant applications that data science has to offer. I consider myself a highly objective, analytic, deliberate and strategic thinker who enjoys gathering, organizing, and analyzing data in order to provide answers to important questions and offer effective solutions.I have always loved solving complex problems and finding out how and why things tick and working in data has only made that passion grow. My years working in the education industry helped me to hone my communication skills, my ability to work well in large teams, performing under pressure and develop a never-give-up attitude.I have a proven track record for effectively and skillfully working as a team member through a myriad of projects. I have also demonstrated my ability to individually carry out and complete projects in a timely manner. I was recognized with the Culture Impact Award’ in January 2024 by RTS Financial for outstanding dedication to process improvement and continuous innovation.
