About Todd Beasley

Todd BeasleyTodd is currently the Director of the Botanic Garden of Georgia Southern University. Prior to 2024, he was a clinical assistant professor in the College of Education at the University of South Carolina. In 2022 he launched Hortication which provides botanically inspired traveling exhibits to public gardens. In 2019 he launched Primitive By Design which focuses on eco-friendly garden and landscape designs and services as well as project management and departmental strategic plans for public gardens. Beyond his normal list of residential clients, contracts with Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and Cape Fear Botanical Garden have helped him stay connected to the pubic garden world.
