As a senior policy analyst in primary care, I was the lead analyst on strategic virtual care policy. I worked on virtual care policies and supported the contract management of several virtual care programs stood up during the pandemic.

As a policy analyst at the Ministry of Health, I delivered policy research on home and community care for seniors and frail adults. In this role I developed policy research and programs, wrote briefings for the Minister and executive management, and gained experience as a supervisor and acting manager.

The Greater London Authority is London’s administrative body, including the Mayor’s office. As a member of London City Hall’s secretariat, I supported members of the Greater London Assembly’s Conservative Group in fulfilling their scrutiny function of the Mayor of London, primarily in regards to policing policy.- Prepared assembly members for Mayor’s Question Time by identifying potentially controversial policing issues on which the Mayor could be questioned, briefing Members on the background behind issues, and providing recommendations on how to strategically debate with the Mayor.- Wrote a 5000 word report on knife crime for assembly member Shaun Bailey that assesses the scope of the issue in London and makes policy recommendations to the Mayor- As part of doing research for the report, contacted and interviewed numerous subject-matter experts- Wrote briefings for assembly members to prepare them for committee meetings and public events- Coordinated with the press-team to develop press releases in response to mayorial policy decisions- Connected with the Metropolitan Police Service and other organizations and departments to ensure that assembly members were provided with accurate and up-to-date information- Managed responsibilities and projects on tight deadlines

The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) supports Police and Crime Commissioners and other policing bodies in the United Kingdom. I worked with a team responsible for managing the Police Transformation Fund application process (in the 2017 financial year the fund was £175 million)- Created the expression of interest and proposal forms for the application process, collated submitted data and proposal forms for internal use and external dissemination, and drafted briefing papers and diagrams- Researched and purchased a survey tool for the organization, and used the tool to create an online version of the proposal form to streamline the submission process- Drafted communications copy for police and government stakeholders communicating the ongoing status of the Police Transformation Fund proposal process- Investigated Home Office benefits appraisal and quality assurance methodology to assist the Police Reform and Transformation Board in aligning its proposal funding recommendations with Home Office standards- Proposed and delivered research projects to fill team knowledge gaps and delivered ad-hoc research

As research intern at the Police Foundation, I utilized my policy research skills while working with the think tank's core research team on the dissemination of the organisation’s Policing in a Changing World project. As a member of this team, I created literature reviews, a detailed account of the policy relationship between police and crime commissioners and police chief constables and engaged in original research on the importance of ethical reflection in policing. I was also responsible for the organisation's monthly newsletter and created a response for the hate crime select committee’s call for evidence.
