I joined the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center in 2013 as the first Curator of Digital and Emerging Media, and since then we have shifted our mission from becoming a traditional museum to one that completely rethinks museum experiences with underserved communities in mind. I think about Asian/Pacific/America from a global, intersectional perspective, and how my field of study can extend to art and culture of the greater Asian Pacific, as well as issues that connect people across the world. One of our flagship projects is the Culture Lab, a series of community-centered cultural programs.

An arts collective that highlights the human side of nuclear issues. As creative director, I partner with founder & nuke expert Lovely Umayam to envision compelling ways to draw public attention to nuclear policy, science & history. In particular, we amplify the complex relationships these topics have with indigenous people & other communities of color.

Phenomenoun is where I do my freelance work as a curator and designer. As founder & chief designer, I collaborate with artists, museums, non-profits, and companies to curate exhibitions, websites, events & other artistic experiences.

I founded iLL-Literacy as a portal for artists to connect with audiences in an intimate level, and to merge art with politics and education. Originally established as a poetry collective at UC Davis, over the past decade iLL-Literacy has maneuvered the spoken word, music, and theater circuits. Over the past couple of years, we have introduced our art pedagogy to the government and academic sectors, demonstrating how art can shift the cultures of politics and education. Some of my favorite performances have been at SxSW, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the dozens of colleges and universities we've had the pleasure of touring. We're working on our next album iB4the1.2.

As Youth Speaks' first Web & Graphics coordinator, I developed and designed the organization's first comprehensive website, curated event marketing concepts, and facilitated general branding.
