Oversees day-to-day operations and staff of the Security team. Create, maintain and implement information security policies to align with best practice and meet regulatory compliance requirements. Develop and provides enterprise security awareness training using proven methods. Successful at ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards such as HIPAA, DoD and PCI related to information security by monitoring, maintaining and updating corporate information security plan. Improves the overall security structure by prioritizing and driving specific efforts to close security gaps. Develops and controls operation budget for the cost center. Aids in developing long range plans and capital budgets. Manages the prevention, detection, containment and eradication of security breaches, and updates security standards as necessary. Manages the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning process. Performs vulnerability assessments against corporate assets to reduce risks to computing environment. Establishes standards and guidelines for the storage, retention and destruction of electronic data. Serves as a key member of the IT management team, with accountability to ensure high quality service to employees, customers, and business partners.
