Sr. Technical Project Manager
In my current position, I work with our internal business units and our clients to ensure continued success for our software applications. We collaborate on strategy to ensure client satisfaction, while growing our reach within our client’s solutions. I have successfully coordinated and managed over 200 new project implementations ranging in scope from a couple of days to over a year. To successfully implement these projects, I have coordinated with both our team here in the US and our team in India. This allows us to complete the SDLC more effectively & efficiently. This requires us to balance our budget, resource allocation, schedule, requirements, and stakeholder expectations.In our projects we have used many different approaches to Project Management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrids/combinations of them all. I believe the best methodology to use is the one our client is most comfortable with and the one that can deliver the best results for all stakeholders.To successfully implement all our projects, I have worked closely with members of our team, ranging from Channel Support Specialists who are able to give us feedback directly from our end users, what they like or don’t like, to our Sales Team and Graphic Designers to ensure a robust user experience and well managed expectations, from first engagement with potential clients. Channel Fusion does not currently employ any Business Analysts, in turn our Project Management team is directly responsible for requirements gathering and documentation for project proposals and implementations.Tools used for project management include Microsoft Project, Basecamp, JIRA, Spira, and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Quality Assurance Manager
In this role I was directly responsible for the Quality of our software implementations. To ensure a quality software release, I managed and coordinated the creation of Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Runs. We always ensured our test case repository was up to date and in tune with our latest software releases. On top of Quality, I also managed the implementation of performance testing our applications. This was done to ensure Load, Endurance, Volume, Spike and Stress testing. These metrics are tweaked to encompass our client needs and anticipated usage to ensure the best performance and quality from our applications.In the final phase of Quality Assurance, I also facilitated and oversaw the User Acceptance Testing of our applications during the hardening phase. This included managing the expectations and coordinating the testing efforts of our clients to ensure an on-time delivery free of defects.In our processes we have used several tools including JIRA, Spira, and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
