Areas of focus over the last 30 years have included SOC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 internal controls, IT audit support for financial audits (FAIT), custom AICPA attest reporting over IT regulatory frameworks including data privacy; and other IT compliance assessments. Currently working with some of world's leading technology organizations to provide assurance around their complex environments.I started my career with EY's Audit/Assurance practice in Boston (1993 - 1997) serving insurance, health care, and technology clients before transferring into EY's Information Systems Auditing and Advisory Services (ISAAS) practice in Los Angeles. Our practice has evolved to keep pace with our client's use of technology and the integration of IT into core business processes. Today, EY's Technology Risk practice provides a wide range of assurance and advisory services to our clients.Served as the West region Risk practice leader for five (5) years from July 2014 to June 2019 overseeing approximately 400 Risk professionals. Leadership responsibilities included all aspects of practice management including revenue planning, financial operations, sales, resource deployment, talent evaluation, personnel decisions, recruiting, training, and account management.
