Daniel Diaz Email and Phone Number
First-generation scholar studying under the Graduate Equity Fellowship at San Francisco State University. I am motivated to apply my research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to improve business operations, optimize employee and organizational performance, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace. My interests in the field of I/O Psychology include diversity management, recruitment & selection, training & development, team dynamics, human factors, gamification, and data/people analytics. In the final year of my graduate education, I am serving as the president of the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Student Association at SFSU. I am also currently leading two projects for the Workplace Technology Research Lab under Dr. Diana R. Sanchez. From this experience, I am learning how technology can be utilized to enhance organizational effectiveness, communication, and functioning. On top of leading these two projects, I am developing my Master's thesis project on team composition of personality and how it impacts team perceptions and outcomes in virtual reality environments. I am seeking internship opportunities in Human Resources or Data Analytics within the San Francisco area or remote options. If you're interested in talking more about I/O psychology, HR, technology, VR, or would simply like to get to know each other better, let's connect!
