I worked as principle architectural assistant at David Cook Architects from January to August 2016 when I finished to start my Part II studies. I worked on projects from initial planning application submissions through to construction detailing. I was responsible for the CAD draughting of all projects, which required forward planning and the ability to produce drawings accurately and quickly. A keeneye for detail as well as a good knowledge of construction was also essential.

 Carrying out detailed building surveys to be drawn up in AutoCAD. Drawing up surveys in AutoCAD, making amendments and producing final sheets. Preparing pre-application packages and producing material to support applications. Administerial duties: answering phone calls, taking messages, and arranging meetings. Researching materials and obtaining quotes.
