I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Utah. My medical school training was completed at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine now A.T. Still University. I then completed my residency in the Michigan State System at Mt Clemens Hospital, now Mclaren Macomb Hospital. I have been practicing in the greater Sacramento Area for more than 10 years. I treat all manner of surgical diseases from breast, thyroid and colon cancer to endoscopy, hernias and gallbladders. I have been trained in, and have a special interest in, minimally invasive surgery, specifically laparoscopic and robotic surgery. I strongly believe that my role as a physician is to help educate each patient regarding their medical/surgical issues. Allowing each patient to understand their condition and make treatment decisions best suited to their individual needs.
