Dave currently leads the Data Science team at Dexcare that provide the data and algorithms that powers Dexcare's data decisioning platform.Prior to Dexcare, Dave led two engineering teams, Data Landing and Compute, that supports Adobe's Experience Platform. Adobe's Experience Platform allows enterprise customers to consolidate all their digital marketing touchpoint data streams into a single platform and provides tools to give customers insights into their data that they cannot get anywhere else. Attribution, Unified Profile, Unified Identity, Machine Learning, Query Service, and other applications are all powered by AEP.The Data Landing team is responsible for ingesting Adobe's internal solution data along with Adobe's external customer first and third party data. Each day, terabytes of data are ingested, validated, cataloged, and made available to customers and solutions within minutes. This highly skilled team uses Spark, Scala, Java, Kafka, Iceberg, and other big data technologies to ensure data is ingested on time with no data loss.The Compute team provides a gateway to allow internal and solution compute jobs to run on several platforms with consistent experience. Today, the compute gateway team supports an internal DCOS spark execution cluster along with a Databricks integration to execute millions of daily on-demand workloads.Prior to Adobe, Dave was a co-founder and VP of Engineering at AdReady (acquired by CPX in 2013), an online display advertising platform founded in 2006. AdReady was a pioneer in integrating custom creatives with multiple premium inventory sources and optimizing campaign results. Before AdReady, Dave was at Classmates (acquired by United Online 2004) where he started as an original developer in 1999 and helped lead the build out and scaling of Classmate's 100m member website. With over 20 years of online SaaS experience building and managing custom software applications, Dave has intimate knowledge and experience in delivering and implementing innovative software that exceeds customer's needs.
