- Developed a client-side webtool for spatial data anonymization using Turf.js and OpenLayers, available at MaskMy.XYZ.- Designed a new method and corresponding Python package for spatial data anonymization, called MaskMyPy, using geopandas and OSMnx. Method is unique in the literature as it is highly automated and scriptable.- Constructed a website, Flask application, and PostGIS database for collecting data from study participants using Strava's API.- Currently developing a fully-featured data sovereignty tool that combines spatial data anonymization, encryption, and blockchain technology for Maori project partners in New Zealand.- Created maps and conducted a wide range of geospatial analysis on a variety of topics, including interpersonal violence, pedestrian injury, children's outdoor play, earthquake vulnerability, GPS bias, Strava running data, and osteons (microscopic bone structures) using GIS. - Published 11 articles in high quality, peer reviewed academic journals and presented at 6 conferences.- Collaborated within and across institutions on large research projects, including with partners at UBC, Queens, McMaster, and the University of Auckland
