- Responsible for project planning, scope definition, schedule and man-hour development, coordinating the disciplines / deliverables for the entire project, communication with the Client for technical queries / deviations, etc, detailed tracking and reporting on status, and changes to project scope, cost, or schedule as well as engineering support for construction, start-up, and close-out of oil and gas facility and pipeline projects - Provide project execution expertise including collaboration with supporting engineering disciplines, design and drafting, vendors, and fabricators- Responsible for cost estimating, design development, regulatory compliance, procurement, project cost control, scheduling, and reporting- Specification of wellsite, compressor station and plant ping, mechanical and electrical equipment as well as instrumentation and controls- Develop, review and edit technical engineering documents- Perform bid analysis for equipment fabrication where multiple proposals are submitted- Ensure equipment compliance with client and industry standards - Supervise drafting and provide engineering input- Support, supervise and expedite fabrication - Support of site construction, equipment installation and commissioning- Produce package and project cost estimates

Project management of repair & maintenance work for Penn West's central Alberta assets. Responsibilities encompass managing concurrent projects from FEED through to turn over to Production. Common projects include pipeline and facility remedial work and new pipeline, facility piping, and process package installation. Projects range from $50k to $1.5M.Job scope / duties:- Responsible for overall planning, scope development, detailed design, construction, start-up, and close-out of facility and pipeline projects- Ensure projects align with corporate vision for economic, safety, environmental, social and other values - Provide project execution expertise including collaboration with production engineers, field production personnel, EPCM companies, material, service and construction contractors and facility construction field foreman- Responsible for AFE development, cost estimating, design development, regulatory compliance, land acquisition, procurement, EPCM leadership, construction management, QA/QC, project cost control, scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder management- Liaison with other groups including Production, Development, and Asset Integrity teams, HS&T, Survey, Surface Land, Regulatory, Field Production group, Facility Construction group, in-house Drafting, in-house QA/QC and in-house Technical Team- Participate and promote safety policies on all facility and pipeline projects from the design phase, to construction, to turning over the facility or pipeline to Operations
