The research conducted by ASU Assistant Dean and Associate Research Professor Tirupalavanam Ganesh. The objectives of the research:-Determine effective methods of conveying engineering concepts to middle and high school students -Inspire these students to pursue engineering -Diversify the engineering fieldTwo methods are to be tested in the research with an assessment. -The first method is to conduct the poster campaign method with an chemical engineering introduction -The second method will test the effectiveness of engineering activities with the a chemical engineering presentation introducing the field and key activity concepts. During this research, a website will be designed and constructed with K-12 content used within the research project for middle school students to encourage and to inspire them to pursue a profession of engineering.
