The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto is a leader in interdisciplinary research, teaching and global engagement. Developments like massive open online courses, pervasive social media, mobile devices and the explosion of subject matter areas all accelerate the pace of change.

Founded in 2007 by Bell Canada, the CCICT was an industry-led, multi-stakeholder initiative. Its mission is to ensure that Canadian organizations can engage information and communications technology professionals with knowledge, skills and talents to meet the evolving and diverse needs of this field. In 2012 CCICT merged with ITAC and became ITAC Talent.

He provided national leadership to ICTC labour market information research and authored a number of groundbreaking studies on Canadian competitiveness in the global digital economy.

Digital 4Sight was a leading global research/think tank that focused on the implications of the internet and digital economy for business strategy and government policy. David formulated and led the firm’s research and advisory activities. At its peak the company had over 30 employees, with dozens of F100 clients and leading governments from around the world. David was the principal author (with Don Tapscott and Alex Lowy) of the bestselling book, Digital Capital, which encapsulates the results of Digital 4Sight research, including a business model innovation model that foreshadowed the rise of the platform economy.
