I enjoy applying software engineering best practices, such as Agile and Lean principles, to find creative solutions and get the best return on investment. App development is an area where I have experience, and I have studied cloud computing and had practice in designing and coding scalable web services.I'm always looking to improve my product by getting feedback from clients, fixing bugs, finding optimizations, and refactoring code. Similarly, I have an understanding of Test Driven Development and have experience using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, to increase my efficiency when working on implementing features.Recently, I completed an internship at Premera Blue Cross where I developed the LeaderBoard App and obtained experience with working with the Microsoft Power Platform. I did not have any experience with this technology but by working hard, practicing, and getting help when needed I was able to quickly learn the new APIs.Also, I have an extensive math, physics, and chemistry background—with lab experience, where I applied the theoretical knowledge I was learning. This taught me problem solving skills and a practical understanding, by comparing theoretical values to the values recorded in my data.
