Managed information technology projects for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Disaster Assistance Improvement Program (DAIP). System integration operations and project liaison between FEMA and its partner agencies, including the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Responsible for the daily operations of Intel's EMC Documentum-based content management systems. These business critical systems are used to manage Intel's silicon product documentation and provide FDA compliance for Intel's healthcare business. Specific duties include management of over 100 server assets, leading a globally dispersed team of 10+ support engineers, and developing and implementing support models (including development and negotiation of service level agreements and operational level agreements) for new content management products and adding server technical support capacity to meet the anticipated demand of existing systems. Also responsible for influencing the strategic direction of enterprise content management capabilities at Intel.

Managed projects that brought enhanced content management capabilities and a new, custom user interface to Intel's Documentum-based document management system. Applied CMMI-based organizational standard processes to customize Documentum Webtop (a commercially available off-the-shelf content management tool) and build an enterprise-ready product, complete with multimedia training, provisioning, and technical support processes.

Managed a group of 5 project/program managers responsible for managing IT projects and programs across multiple Intel business units within a CMMI level-2 organization. The projects and programs managed within this team included ensuring PC/network security within Intel’s factories, providing decision-support data to marketing groups, launching and managing new technical and marketing product information on intel.com, custom software development, and driving organizational process improvement under the CMMi framework. Responsible for: cost management of the team through ensuring full utilization of employees on high-value Intel programs, career development and growth of individuals as project management professionals, monitoring and tracking project performance, and coaching employees on developing and managing corrective actions needed to keep their projects on track.

Assembled and led a channel marketing team to establish an e-commerce path between Intel's web site and web sites of and the authorized distributors who sell Intel’s products, worldwide. Managed the technical development of Cold Fusion templates, identified an existing database infrastructure to speed time to market, and developed a self-managing, data-driven web marketing capability in three months.

Led a team of three that supported a high-volume technical publications group with production and technical/marketing illustration services. This central publishing services team’s activities included three key results:Created and edited several hundred illustrations for print and Web-based technical documents that supported Intel® microprocessor and microcontroller products.Managed all printed publishing of all completed technical documentation.Migrated a paper-based illustration filing system to an electronic illustration and document management/workflow system. This provided a way for technical writers in various geographies to electronically search for illustrations for their documents and request edits to those illustrations.Software/Technologies used include Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, FrameMaker, Lotus Notes, QuarkXpress, PostScript, PDF, DOS, UNIX, Windows 3.1/95/NT, MacOS
