Integrated-optics for high voltage electric field sensing.I'm involved in a research project with ABB (leader in power and automation technologies) to explore the opportunities that integrated optics sensors can offer to high voltage electric field sensing.

Experimental and theoretical studies of micro- and nano-structured electro-optic crystals using electric-field domain inversion, bonding and etching techniques for the development of a new type of integrated optical modulators and electric field sensors. Experience in micro and nano fabrication techniques (Annealing Proton Exchange in LiNbO3, bonding, lapping, etching, thin film depositions), numerical design and characterization of micro-structured devices (both RF and optical). Development of a highly performing integrated electro-optic modulators for the telecom industry and electrode-free optical sensor for high voltage measurements.
