I have loved English and writing as far back as I can remember. Even back in first grade, we would get an assignment to write about anything we wanted. While all of my other classmates groaned and moaned, I was all smiles. And yes, I wrote in the horror genre as much as I was allowed to do so. Horror has always been a major influence in my life. I was watching horror movies at the ages of four and five. As for professional writing experience, all I have to offer are my published books. But writing short horror stories and dark poetry is something that I love to do. It isn't just a hobby or phase. It is my passion.So if there are any publishers out there who would possibly give me the opportunity to prove myself, please let me know. Also, any production companies who would like to use any of my works for movie, tv, etc; I am happy to work with you too. Another passion that I have is to help others to reach their academic goals in the realm of English. Whether it be Literature, Creative Writing, Poetry, Literary Criticism, Composition, or many other facets of the subject. When I was earning my degrees as a forty-some-year-old student, there were many times when I endured rough patches and needed help. Fortunately, there was always an instructor ready to help me in any way. That took away most of the stress and made the process easier. I want to do that for others. I want to be there for them when they need it. So, if there are any community colleges, other colleges, universities, etc that would be willing to allow me the opportunity to prove myself, I would love the chance.
