Duc Le is a Principal Engineering Lead at Microsoft at Microsoft. Colleagues describe him as "I had the pleasure of managing Duc during his internship at Microsoft in the summer of 2013. Duc managed to accomplish a great deal and in general exceeded my expectations for his performance: * Duc did a great job ramping up quickly on all the various technologies (HDinsight, Oozie, C#, MSTest, …) and processes within the team and as a result was able to effectively execute on the rest of his commitments later. * He managed to devise a great first test plan, explore it, significantly revise it and change course based on findings and feedback, and get review and sign-off in the end on a good comprehensive plan. * He wrote very succinct and clean code, came up with innovative ways to explore the space, did a great job on code reviews, and ended up implementing a solid harness and a great wealth of tests for us. * He was diligent about running his many times to flush out bugs (both in the product and his test code) and to deeply investigate results with help from team members. * He delivered a great final presentation to showcase his work to the rest of the team at the end. Overall Duc contributed a great test suite that we can use and build on going forward to test all the various aspects of Oozie. It was a pleasure working with Duc this summer – his technical skills, personal communication style and team work are great, and I’ve definitely learned from working him as much as I hope he learned from working with us."
