As a medical scribe/trainer at Fort Worth Heart P.A., I played a role in ensuring accurate and efficient documentation of patient encounters. My responsibilities included provide training to new recruits and maintaining high standards for medical record-keeping. I collaborated closely with cardiologists to streamline workflows, enhance patient care, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. My experience also involved implementing best practices for documentation, optimizing electronic health record (EHR) usage, and improving the overall efficiency of the physician-patient encounters. This role allowed me to develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced medical environment.

Working as an emergency department scribe at a Level 2 trauma center has been a dynamic and intense experience. In this role, I closely supported physicians by documenting patient encounters, including histories, physical exams, and medical decision-making.
