Working with the Dean of Strategic Partnerships at NSCC, my role is to foster, expand and strengthen relationships with COB's, BIPOC and underrepresented/served communities across the City of Lynn and North Shore area.

* Served as the lead staffer for the Work and Family Mobility Act, developing a legislativeagenda and driving it through all stages of drafting, advocacy, and collaboration with diverseaudiences including stakeholders, community organizations, local, state and federallegislators, as well as General Consulates, to move through the legislative process. - Organized press conferences, educational briefings for legislators and staff to raise awareness and understanding of the WFMA, and drafted testimony for the Senator and others to present at public hearings.* Managed and delegated constituent services and casework across the office, includingtraining new staffers in their roles and keeping meticulous records of each constituentinteraction on the office's CRM. Treating constituents and staff members with respect,diligence and a sense of urgency.* Organize and oversee the Senator's Internship Program, supervising teams of up to 5 interns while working closely with team members to create an effective, productive andpositive experience for both staffers and interns, in-person and virtually.* Developed and managed relationships with state agencies and community organizations.* Scheduled and organized events and meetings for the Senator's office.* Represented the Senator's office at events and in stakeholder meetings, lobbying andadvocating for legislation and priorities with senior state lawmakers and officials.

* Organizes youth lead initiatives that seeks to keep members of urban communitiesactively engaged, included, and represented through work closely with communitystakeholders* Planned relief programs and aid throughout 2020, including the first months of theCOVID-19 pandemic which included: stimulus checks for undocumented immigrants,who were ineligible for state and federal aid* Convened volunteers to help at local pantries that ended up distributing over a millionboxes of food during the COVID-19 pandemic for food drives and volunteers* Adhering to COVID-19 restrictions, regulations and laws remotely supported hundredsof individuals gain food access, financial support and connected them with state andlocal agencies through Spanish speaking services, and better explained tenant protectionlaws, eviction moratorium and more.
