I am passionate about Equity and Inclusion specifically that of marginalized communities. My goal is to continue working in spaces that encourage personal growth and provide necessary services, such as affordable child care, to low income families. My experience is rooted in youth development and creating programs that foster safe spaces for underserved youth in order to encourage them to be the best they can be. I have navigated different aspects of after-school programs from working directly with youth to working in the membership department to now running a program to fit current youth’s needs. I hope to continue giving back to my community by helping youth feel that they will always have someone to advocate for them and encourage them to pursue their versions of success.
