• Research: Lead the regular review and analysis of UNFPA and various UN mechanisms, frameworks, and practices, such as the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Human Rights Council, the Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF). Extract data and examples to summarize the progress of integrating the implementation of the Nairobi Summit commitments into UN accountability processes. Manage the Nairobi Commitment database and respond to requests and questions from internal and external partners. • Project Management: - Facilitate the ICPD25 Follow-up Secretariat coordinating with the High-Level Commission on Nairobi Summit on ICPD25 Follow-up (HLC), an independent advisory body of eminent leaders from around the world. - Facilitate the development of the Global Commitment Monitoring Framework, a tool that uses SDG, DHS, and MICS indicators to reflect the progress on implementing 12 global Nairobi commitments. - Facilitate high-level events, including the global launch of the first report in New York and the launch of the second report in Zanzibar, Tanzania, during which, contributed to logistics arrangement and internal and external communications. - Serve as the focal point for youth-related and data-related projects. - Support reviewing proposals for small grants and project reports.• Communication: Support external and internal communication and outreach efforts, including creating promotional and advocacy materials, managing a Twitter account, drafting web stories, coordinating with vendors, and facilitating event planning and execution.

Jul 2020 – April 2021• Research & Project Management: Co-authored the first UNFPA scenario planning working paper, Four Scenarios for Three Transformative Results. Supported the Policy Strategy Division with conducting scenario planning literature reviews and facilitating interviews and workshops for a scenario planning exercise. This work is part of the development of the UNFPA Strategic Plan 2022-2025. • Knowledge Management: Documented and reported project progress. • Data Analysis: Cleaned and improved the quality of the data on 1390+ commitments to sexual and reproductive health and rights gathered from the Nairobi Summit on ICPD25.

•Research: Conducted in-depth desk review and interviews on the topic of Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus. Analyzed programs covering Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Ukraine. Provided evidence and recommendations for the client to adapt its’ global strategy•Data Analysis: Analyzed data from 38 interviews using coding on Dedoose and Tableau. •Communication: Wrote reports and created presentations with the research team. Presented research findings to the staff at Danish Refugees Council. The deliverables helped the client adjust its global strategy.The original field research plan for Ethiopia and Kenya was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
