Oversee from an operations viewpoint, the day to day running of Biffa's flagship mechanical and biological plant. Overseeing a team of around 25 employees, consisting of mechanical and electrical technicians, laboratory technicians, SCADA operators, multi skilled operators, baler operators, production operators & weighbridge operators, as well as any agency staff and contractors attending site to ensure all production levels are successfully met daily, along with any preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Ensuring Health & Safety and Environmental compliance, whilst showing continuous improvement in productivity, plant availability and the requirements of sub products produced in accordance with the site licenses.
