Coriole Vineyards was established in 1967 by my grandparents, Hugh and Molly Lloyd. 50 years after they made their first shiraz, our third-generation family business continues to make wine in McLaren Vale. We produce traditional varieties such as shiraz, cabernet, grenache and chenin blanc, alongside newer varieties like nero d'avola and montepulciano. Coriole has the longest continuously producing sangiovese vineyard in Australia, and introduced fiano and piquepoul to Australia. I joined Coriole as Senior Winemaker in 2017. Prior to this I worked as winemaker for Logan Wines in Mudgee, New South Wales. My experience also includes working with Tasmanian winery Josef Chromy, and vintages in Germany and Italy.As well as winemaking for Coriole, I established Dune Wine with Peter Lloyd in 2016.
