I am a film and video professional. I've been involved with video production since I was very young, volunteering and eventually working at a cable public access studio in my neighborhood. There I learned fundamentals like camera operation, editing, and directing.Later in life, I obtained a degree for Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from The Illinois Institute of Art—Chicago. I put everything I had into my years in college, and it led to me getting a large variety of work. Working on film sets and commercials, and also working freelance; editing TV shows and a multitude of other things.Eventually I obtained a position at LoSasso Integrated Marketing under the title of "Video and Motion Graphics". There, I did a lot of work for a wide range of clients. From agriculture and construction equipment, to metal manufacturing machines, to bowling alleys. My work allowed me to travel and shoot in a variety of locations; edit energetic, engaging videos; and create motion graphics from very little resources. In 2015, I took at job at Weigel Broadcasting as a Motion Graphic Designer. I created motion graphics for several television networks including WCIU The U, MeTV, H&I, Movies!, and Decades. I worked with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, and the Element 3D plugin for After Effects to accomplish most of my tasks. In 2016, I transferred departments at Weigel to On-Air Promotions Production. My job then consisted of screening TV shows for footage, writing copy (promo scripts), sending out for voice-over, editing in Adobe Premiere, and either submitting for graphics or doing a bit of light graphics work myself in After Effects.Currently I am a freelancer in the film and video industries.Thank you!
